This summer Woodward Camp in Pennsylvania is launching a synthetic snow slope with a rail line and jump.
I have been helping Woodward Camp design and develop their new snowboard camp that will be opening at Copper Mountain, CO next season. They are also in the process of building a synthetic snow slope at their summer skate camp in Pennsylvania which will host a rail set-up and a jump in an airbag. We’ve been testing different synthetic snow surfaces and finally locked one down that will work the best for this set-up. The camp is opening for snowboarders the 2nd week of June and running through September 1st of this summer. Woodward has been making an offer to USASA members to come to camp for a discounted rate of $650 per week, which include all your lodging, food, extra activities, skating, trampolines, and snowboarding. Woodward is also making an offer to teams who bring 5 or more riders the same $650 per week even if they are not USASA members.
